#168. Not great for our ward, but not terrible either. I wish more people took this seriously.

7. Me, MadAsHell and number one son |
|
have all voted. I was just there and was number 40 in my township, which is pretty good for a spring election. Will probably have a total turnout of about 80.
Number two son should be there later this afternoon before work. Forgot to remind him to go first thing this morning. Hopefully he'll have time.

Dragongentleman and I walked over and did the deed at 5 p.m. We were in the low 500s at that time. Then we continued on our way and had a nice walk home.

24. My first Wisconsin election! |
|
Well, it was my 2nd, but I didn't give enough of a crap about Obama or Hillary a month ago to go.
I think I was #25 or so right after the polls opened. What a clusterf***. If you're going to have old, senile, retired guys helping at the polls, at least show them what to do if someone wants to do same day registration! Don't just let him sit there and try to bluff his way through....
Gave me the wrong side of the card to fill out, kept reading the wrong aldermanic district to me from the book and telling me I was in the wrong place (I looked it up-- this is 3 streets over from my house! He was looking at the wrong street.) :eyes:
I finally had to ask one of the THREE other women working if someone could help him because I needed to get to work. Finally got the ballot and filled it out for Lena and Louis. Wasn't sure who else to select, so didn't do much else.
They certainly make you work for it here! I'm used to a ballot where good and evil are labeled D and R for you. I can see I'm going to have to do a lot more research before each election!

28. Yup, No party affiliation on the local races. |

Research is not only recommended, but required. The jsonline.com covers MOST of the races. Probably all for you since you live in civilization.
Hope you're feeling 100% by now!! :hi:
