Every time I look out the window and see snow blowing flipping sideways I curse and rage and throw things.

I've been glorying in all the daffodils and tulips! Back home they'd have been around for about 2 days then melted.

Now the snow will get them. I'm very sad. :(

5. I would be up for a trip to Madison, except...

I'm taking my guys to Madison on Thursday to look at apartments for fall. I don't know that I'll have the gas money for two trips this week.

This Republican energy crunch is really putting a damper on the hobbies.

I may try to go the week after, depending on what I find this week. I had tons of good finds at the courthouse in Rockford week before last, so I'm following up on some of that.

Let me know if next week looks any better. I might be able to go to Lake Geneva this weekend and put off Madison for a week. We gotta hang out, girl!

7. "Gotta hang out" is right.

But I've already made plans for the 10th. I wish they were open on Sundays.

I'm free the two Saturdays after though if you can put it off one or two more weeks for little ol' me. If I don't have gas money by then, I'll cash in the aluminum cans. Or, in a cosmic turn of the tables, borrow it from my kids. ;-)
