There is a non-profit fundraiser Friday June 27th at THE OAKS Golf Course.

This is for DANCE WISCONSIN - A Pre-Professional Dance Company, is a great organization the provides a lot for the community - and not only for the kids who are directly invovled (though that certainly helps the community as a whole, too.) They also provide very low cost tickets to performances for area schools, teach via a program called Dance in the Schools that exposes children to the art of dance who might never otherwise even know what ballet is. Scholarships are also provided for young dancers who can't afford classes, shoes or dancewear.

Not only does dance provide much needed physical activity, it teaches discipline, teamwork, and perserverance. I've always said that if you have your kids in an activity that demands a lot of their time - you always know where they are, instead of wondering what they're up to. And as my son put it, when was the last time you heard of a bunch of ballet dancers wreaking havoc?

So please join us for the annual Dance Wisconsin Golf Outing on Friday June 27at The Oaks

Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Entry fee $90 -- Foursome $360 -- Lunch $15

There is also a Silent Auction that includes a signed football from the Green Bay Packers
