New Winery - between
Whitewater and Delavan . . . Staller Winery.

http://www.stallerestate.com/

Ran across this one this weekend - it's new and very unassuming, but the wine is excellent! and quite different from the run of the mill. The young woman who runs the place is pretty cool, too.

There's also a very quaint (very old) bookstore in Delavan, too - including THREE Bookstore cats! lol

The whole area is just so nice. Williams Bay, Geneva Lake, the houses, the lake, the Observatory, the restaurants - everything . . . I loved it.

reprehensor and I just found that bookstore a couple weeks ago! We went to Lake Geneva for the day so I could find some dead people, had some lunch, then he was grumpy that there weren't any antique stores for him to browse through.

So we picked up one of those local tourism booklets and found that place, so we headed to Delavan. What a neat place!

Zoe proceeded to come hop right up in my lap, purr like a jet engine, and make biscuits on me until my lap was sore and my forearm was aching where she kneaded it. I want a cat like that! Mine is generally unsociable. But she is warming up from what she used to be.

We'll check out the winery next time we get out that way.

:D
