On Oberman last night: Man shoots his lawn mower...
.... and of course he is from Wisconsin.

Why are these crazy stories that get national attention always about weird people from WI?

What is in the water here? at least some of us are sane here right.

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) -- A 56-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of shooting his lawn mower because it wouldn't start.

Keith Walendowski told police he felt he had a right to shoot his mower.

Keith Walendowski has been charged with felony possession of a short-barreled shotgun or rifle and misdemeanor disorderly conduct while armed.

According to the criminal complaint, Walendowski says he was angry because his Lawn Boy wouldn't start Wednesday morning.

He told police: "I can do that, it's my lawn mower and my yard so I can shoot it if I want."

2. These are the McCain supporters
Incapable of simple tasks...like starting a lawn mower, and turning to guns to solve their problems.

Has anyone ever seen John McCain start a lawn mower? Might make some good video.

4. This is a national CNN Radio story and all over the web
It sounds like he lost it. I thought the felony charge was a bit too much. He needs mental help, not jailtime.

5. Target practice?
If the lawn mower wasn't moving, it's not very challenging in terms of target practice.

6. Someone in Sacramento did that years ago
and was immortalized in A Child With His Lawn Mower by the Dead Kennedys. :D

Someone call Jello Biafra...he needs to write a sequel to that tune!
