1. They've already sent out a letter warning us that bad things could be coming
in terms of a reduction in retirement checks.

And health insurance rates are going up by about 10%. In my case, this means that my retirement check, reflecting 23 years in the retirement system, will not cover my health insurance premiums.

2. This is another outrage and a sign that the criminals in the Bush administration bankrupted the US
by the end of 2004-not that they give a shit about you, me or anyone else--I loathe everytime that smirking murderer goes "heh, heh, heh-it's hard work..."

3. No money
I lost almost half the money I had invested at Edward Jones. Now my State pension will be cut. I either have to get a job or die real soon.

4. I've got my retirement all in the core fund......but still it's gonna be
at least a 1%-3% cut. :cry: as far as health benefits, I've got some sick leave turned premiums left, and then my deferred account will pay for the premiums. Then hopefully in about 7-8 years we'll all have national health insurance!! Although I'm not holding my breath.
