1. No. Wish we did, especially in Milwaukee.

2. Well, sort of
You can fill out an absentee ballot at City Hall here in Madison, and drop it right into a ballot box instead of mailing it.

3. Its close enough to early voting.
We fill out an absentee ballot at the appropriate location and it is done. I voted today.

4. I got a message about it on my answering machine
Unfortunately, the person leaving the message had such a heavy accent that I couldn't understand half of what he said. Our polling place in our little town has never been busy when we have voted before. We have always walked in and voted right away. I realize that it might be busier this year, but I will probably be voting after work around 3:00 p.m. and have plenty of time.

5. Technically it is
absentee voting, but you can vote (and register, if need be) right on the spot.

I spent this afternoon working at the polls in our township, and we had a steady stream of voters coming in. We think we're between 25 and 30% turnout so far, just from these early votes.

In 2000, we hit turnout in the high 80some percent range, so I can't wait to find out what we do this year! :bounce:

6. I voted in Oshkosh, early
It's absentee, but no fault. In other words, you don't have to justify why you're voting early.
