WISN Radio Temporarily Takes Belling Off Air

Controversial radio talk show host Mark Belling was off the air Monday.

The move from WISN Radio owners Clear Channel Communications came two weeks after Belling used a racial slur to describe Mexican immigrants.

When Belling's fans tuned in for the show Monday, this is what they heard.

"WISN (radio) Milwaukee is adamantly opposed to the use of racially offensive language. As a result of his comment and subsequent actions, Mark Belling is currently not on the air. We regret that this incident occurred, and we look forward to educating the public about ethnic diversity. Our focus is to rebuild relations with the Milwaukee community. We now invite you to listen to the Sean Hannity show on new talk 1130 WISN."

A statement from Clear Channel said Belling will return to the air, but does not say when.

10. I actually prefer Belling over Rush when he's subbing

and I prefer Belling as Rush's sub as opposed to Belling on his own show.

But I can't stand Hannity. If those are my choices then Bring. Back. Mark. Belling!!

I'd be glad to see Mark go if Hannity wasn't the permanent replacement. Ugh!

9. Belling just luvs women too.

One day, Belling explained how mothers who nurse their babies in public is the same thing as pulling down your pants and taking a crap on the sidewalk.

He has also said that women on welfare should have all their civil rights rescinded.

Yeah, Belling is a real tip-top fascist.

I tuned in to see who the replacement was.... Sean Hannity was announcing that Greg Palast was going to be on so I listened for that spot. It was quite astounding. Sean belittled Palast and called him names and talked over everything Palast said. Then that weasel Mark Levin gets on the line and starts doing the same thing. So the Palast spot about votes not being counted was a big name calling party by Sean and his buddy Mark. Their behavior was almost at the Savage level. Disgusting.

Once in a very blue moon Mark can manage something halfway intelligent. Not often mind you.

I dislike him, but I hate Savage and Hannity with a rage that knows no bounds.
