My civil rights case is gaining momentum now.
Can't say too much about it at this point.

1. Civil rights case?
Can you elaborate at all, for the benefit of us new DU'ers? What's the case about?

2. My case involves violations of the US Constitution, The Americans with
Disabilities Act, Wisconsin law by various Green Bay and Brown Couty authorities.

I was threatened by a Green Bay police officer too and suffered a medical emergency in the Brown County Jail, untreated. Prescription meds were not available even though my wife and son brought them.

8. I didn't have to get an injunction, now I'm free to report Brown County
Mental Health Center to Medicare Fraud Hotline, again!
I was denied my rights under the US Constitution, Americans With Disabilities Act and Wisconsin Law.
I was assaulted, twice, in there. The place is loaded with criminals, especially sexual predators and pedophiles:mad: My health has suffered. I may have developed diabetes.
There was a misdiagnosis and wrongful medications prescribed-some of them (Abilify) are defective drugs. This went on for many months. It's over and the path to litigation open.

9. I have heard from reliable people that BCMH is awful.
If your lawsuit/complaint can bring about reform, then more power to you!!!

Keep us posted if you can. My prayers are with you.

10. Rev, I've heard the complete opposite---
I have a young relative, who was hallucinating, and hearing voices. He was supposedly treated at Manitowoc Health Care center, and they proceeded to over medicate him something terrible, according to his parents. They got him transfered to GB, re-assessed, re-medicated, and now he is back on his feet, and in a group home, for observation. He is due to return to society, in a couple of months, altho he will still need medication.
So, this is a case where they did some good. Hopefully, Bob will come out ahead of the game, with his case. Every instance is different. I think.

11. I can't discuss details...
...let's just say someone I know was in there for a "forced" suicide watch. Her experiences were terrible. Confidentiality prevents me from saying anything else.

12. I was assaulted, twice in BCMHC-it's a snake pit in Unit 7.
I have a clear and strong case against them and experts on my side.
Naturally it is only a small contingent of professionals that are negligent, but it includes Administration and several Doctors.

They want to keep the place full and many criminals are there-some predatory.

13. I am having a related issue with a school in Southern Wisconsin
My daughter participated in a mock election. The instructor then asked a show of hands who the students voted for. He then handed out candy to all the students.

Then he made a statement that all those who voted for Governor Bush said thank you, and all who voted for Senator Kerry did not. He said those who voted for Bush had better manners. He then "High -fived" all those who voted for Governor Bush.

I have gone from informal complaint to formal complaint and am frustrated with no action.

I went to the school board last night and when I stood to address them, they closed the discussion and went into closed session. I have seen this before and understand their action and ignorance.

I am looking for an attorney, for litigation seems the only way to protect our children from this political discrimination.

Can anyone suggest a firm or organization that may be able to help?

15. Unannounced inspection? Yeah, right. When did that ever happen
I worked in a nursing home at one time and we knew at least 24 hours before any "unannounced" inspection took place. And I can assure you we had full staff that day and everyone was on their best behavior.

So what's your take, Bob? Are these isolated incidences or is there a culture of abuse? Does that culture of abuse manifest itself within the ranks or come down from management?

support of his allegations. I spoke to one of his investigators.

I wasn't alone, two women were named that also have complaints against the Brown County Mental Health Center. Names and dates were given. That's all I can say at present.

17. Update-Brown County Mental Health Center federal funding at risk.
Deficiencies found in staffing and records.
http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/news/archive/local_20912015.shtml

It's like I told you, BCMHC is a snake-pit-especially Unit 7. Dr. Koti Mannem is the Director of Brown County Mental Health Center, he should be prosecuted for the harm he caused me, and others.
