Who got their state convention packets?

Mine came in the mail today. I'm reading over the platform and resolutions right now. I'm not sure I can make it down to Appleton, But I'll try my best.

1. Not yet, but I haven't gotten home yet anyway

We're going to be delegates, and I imagine the platform and resolutions will be available on-site, too (our county chair told us the delegate stuff, like credentials, will be on-site).

Anything interesting in there?

2. I didn't get any credentials....

The packet contained the tenative agenda, proposed convention rules, proposed election rules, Platform and district resolutions, some invitations, and some assorted announcments.

3. Yes. I didn't see an official opposition to TABOR in the platform.

4. Home now, and the packets were waiting for us

No official opposition to TABOR, huh...maybe the deadlines were screwy. It appears to be dead for now anyway.

...and no credentials for me either, so I suppose they'll be there when I get there...

5. I know there was a resolution in opposition to TABOR proposed

Though at the moment, I don't remember if it made it past the CD conventions I attended. I suppose you'd find it under governmental affairs or economy and taxes.

I'll check my packet if I get a chance and let you know if I see it.

6. 8th CD had an anti-TABOR Resolution, as well.

It must have not gone through.

8. Fortunatley I might be able to get a ride down...

I only live about an hour and a quarter's drive from Appleton. I might be able to get a ride down with outher party members, go back home after the proceeedings, then come back down the next morning.
