1. Kick - Looking forward to it.
This is the 3rd Fighting Bob Fest. I went to the first two and they were awesome-like a tent revival for Dems.

5. I don't know ...
If you are wondering because of Stan Gruszynski's name on the list, Stan is a very talented speaker who has spoken at both of the previous fests. The transcript of his last speech is available at http://www.fightingbob.com/article.cfm?articleID=132

6. Only a month away...

Time to bump this topic back to the 1st page, since it's only a month away

Here's a comment from FightingBob.com:

And who knows who will show up from the presidential campaign trail? It's likely to be someone big.

Maybe some of you could make a better guess, but could it be John Edwards, perhaps? Maybe Howard Dean or Dennis Kucinich? (Even though Dean and DK have dropped out, they would undoubtedly bring a powerful message in support of John Kerry and John Edwards.

Personally, I'd rather not be hearing from Nader right now unless he's going to endorse John Kerry. As it has been said on here before, "If Kerry is a slap in the face, Bush is a brick to the skull." Especially since I could be drafted if Bush were re-selected, and since Bush could appoint neo-cons to the Supreme Court.

7. That's quite a teaser
Kucinich spoke at the first two. I think it would be great to see him speak again. I can't imagine Garvey inviting Nader but I suppose it's possible. If Howard Dean or John Edwards show up, I will be thrilled.

I can't help but feel this is going to be the best Fighting Bob Fest yet! I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there.

8. The first year 1000 to 1500 , the second ...
2500 to 3000 and not enough room even in the stands. This year, we may need to bring blankets to sit on the grounds. It should be a great day.

as you have posted, there have been hints that someone from the presidential campaign trail will/may make an appearance. I can't imagine they'd play up the green party candidate like that but what campaign (primary or general) or who the mystery speaker is they have yet to say. And, as I'm discovering in politics, there will likely be no guarantee that anyone can be there until they show up.

Here is an updated list of speakers

"Sen. Tom Harkin joins
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Russ Feingold
Jim Hightower
Jerry Bracey
Bob McChesney
John Nichols
Peg Lautenschlager
Tammy Baldwin
Stan Gruszynski
Gwen Moore
Midge Miller
Dave Zweifel
Matt Rothschild
Green Party Presidential Candidate David Cobb"

Musical interludes provided by
SONiA
Marques Bovre (a personal favorite of mine)
Command Zulu
David Stoddard
