Residents protest LU’s demolition of historic Appleton home

If Lawrence Univ. didn't want the home, why didn't they just sell it to someone? I'm sure some handyman would have loved to buy a historic house on a park. It wasn't in as bad shape as Lawrence implied.

1. We're fighting this same crap in Waukesha

Carroll College wants to tear down three houses to build a giant dorm. (Even though this is a protected historic district, the mayor is all in favor of this.) We're in limbo right now.
