1. There's some amazing weather there!
Just talked to my sister in south wisconsin, and she wasn't in it, but said it was pretty nasty up top by Eau Claire.

2. I just looked at the weather map
http://wwwa.accuweather.com/radar-state.asp?partner=accuweather&myadc=0&traveler=1&zipcode=&level=state&type=SIR&anim=STILL&site=WI_

looks like central WI is in for a busy night. Here in Milwaukee it's quiet, although I'm told there were some good localized storms earlier. Hail and winds sort of thing

3. We need more WI DU'ers. every storm should threaten 100's of us
I know that sounds weird, but a couple thousand DU'ers per county would be great!

4. Sun is coming up in Green Bay
Hail and lightining around 11pm, nice cool wind and downpour, enough to wake the kids. Definite twisty weather!

A few shredded leaves from the hail on the ground this morning, no damage here.

5. Had to shut
the PC down around 7PM last night....didn't see the threads....

It got interesting around here last night. Funnel clouds reported almost all around us...Neillsville & Athens and Chili too which is about 7 or eight miles away....golf-ball sized hail in Neillsville.

I went out to see if I could spot anything but the rain wrap and darkness made it a futile effort...

My wife is convinced I'm crazy...standing out in the wind, rain and lightning (which was beautiful cloud-to-cloud for the most part)in my slicker with a camera.....she was worried I'd get struck by lightning so I told her I'd get my golf bag and take my 2-Iron with me....because, as all golfers know, not even God can hit a 2-iron!

Interesting night....might be more tonight.

You mean, I've been telling that joke wrong all this time? Next, you'll tell me that "Hit the ball, drag Charlie" is wrong, too.

15. LOLOLOL
What about this:

The foursome was ready to tee off on the 15th hole near the highway when a funeral procession drove by. John, one of the foursome, took his hat off, placed it over his heart and stood with his head bowed until the procession passed. One of the other golfers said, "John, I'm really impressed. I've never seen such a touching show of respect." John replied, "Well, it was the least I could do. After all, We were married for for 35 years. "

6. Checking in late - I was out of town
My SO was in Menomonie for work so I joined him last night. Left the kids at home near Marshfield where the really crappy weather was. Though we had tornado warnings in Menomonie, it was actually 15 miles north and nothing really to worry about.

On the other hand, my kids spent about an hour and a half in the basement from tornado warnings as about three popped up nearby.

The good news is everyone and everything is okay.

13. That's Menomonie, WI, not Menomonie, MI
About 25 miles west of Eau Claire on Hwy 94, home of the nicest wayside of the entire interstate system, imho.

11. Want to see a weird weather phenomenom?
Take a look at this radar image my son recorded in Tallahassee. What you're looking at is the outflow boundaries of two different thunderstorms COLLIDING with the storm from the seabreeze....

pretty rare event....
