1. wow that sucks for all involved. glad the kid is okay....... |
|
i am not trying to be the slightest bit funny when I say that this story would have a much more tragic ending if it happened down here in southern Arizona in the summertime.

The kid died.
It's in the high 80's here and sunny. It was enough.

4. shit.... okay... my bad. damn damn damn |
|
a tragic, tragic mistake... although it doesn't matter i wonder how many kids the center was taking care of? Obviously negligence and lack of judgent on the employees involved but its one of those things where the burden will be around their necks and in their hearts for the rest of their lives. I would most assuredly have to be put on suicide watch if I was ever responsible for something like this.

easy mistake.
As opposed to what these people did, which was just indescribably negligent

The child died.
Regarding temperatures, do you really think it stays cold year round in northern states? During the summer, it gets hot. Whether that hot is 100 degrees or 80 degrees, whether you're in Arizona or Maine, leave a kid or animal in the car, the kid or animal dies.

5. you're right, of course... I just some how skipped over the death part. |
|
I am from Iowa, I know it gets hot up there and in a closed car especially.... I was just thinking that since the kid died, it must not have either been that hot or it wasn't sunny or the window was rolled down. Here in the sunniest zip code in the U.S., Yuma... it's never NOT sunny and even with the window rolled down, a 2 year old would die inside a car.
