Sen. Feingold to host Milwaukee picnic

Just got this email invite from Russ. I went last year and it was a great time. Here's the info from the email:


Dear Friend,

I would like to invite you to join me for a community picnic at Grant Park in South Milwaukee on Sunday, August 7th. Last year, the event was a huge success and the number of people who came out a testament to the tremendous grassroots support for the issues that were the cornerstone of my campaign: providing health care for all Americans, protecting and creating jobs, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and fighting terrorism while protecting our civil liberties.

Now, almost a year later, we recognize that the challenges far too many Americans face everyday didn't go away with the last election. We still have much work to do together, and that is why I am asking for your help. With your on-going support, I will continue to give voice to those of us who believe that we need to promote a progressive reform agenda that addresses the issues about which we all care deeply.
