3. I just checked the website
Edited on Mon Jul-25-05 04:06 PM by ewagner
and was amazed to find that various owners groups were doing fly-in enmasse....

For instance, the Warbirds were scheduled for a mass fly over and arrival at 3PM.

Owner's groups like Piper Commanche owners flew in as a group yesterday. The Beechcraft Bonaza owners flew in as a group beating the storms on Saturday.

I was raised around airplanes so this is really fascinating for me.

I know, I'm crazy but....welllllll...

Oh yes, the B-25 and a AT-6 flew over my house this morning heading SSE toward Oshkosh....interesting sight!

on edit; here's the website. http://www.airventure.org/

10. Prolly
take a quick side trip....there's a restaurant by the Super 8 Motel that has a patio where you can see almost everything...I think it's called the steak pit or sizzle pit or something like that. It's off the Hwy44 exit and South Park Ave....maybe you could do a lunch and enjoy yourself for a few minutes....

13. Is that Patty Wagstaff?
My son's girlfriend is ga-ga for her. They heard she's flying on Sunday so they are going over then.

I saw her a few years ago when we went. She is definitely fearless.
