Sad. I almost feel sorry for the guy.
As if this tepid bit of last-minute positive campaigning could rescue the moribund Liberal campaign.
In a clear nod to Dalton McGuinty's no-negative campaign that worked so successfully in the last Ontario election, Martin sits by a sunny window and describes "his Canada". Which of course is the Canada we know and love that was shaped by REAL leaders like Trudeau, Pearson and Tommy Douglas (everything he mentions is mostly due to their efforts). But it's too little too late for most people, I suspect.
He also repeats that line "America is our neighbour, but it's not our nation" that he used in the debate.
It's on their website now:
http://liberal.ca/multimedia_e.aspx?id=70It's frustrating to know the person supposedly representing my vision of Canada is such a tool.
That's why I hope Jack appreciates my "loan". ;)
