Don Cherry can kiss my A$$
Tough on crime might be a real issue in Moscow or Baghdad, but Canada does NOT have a crime problem.

Platitudes like criminals need to be treated tougher are easy but not backed by any evidence showing it would reduce crime or provide relief for victims.

What do you think should happen to the 3 guys that broke into the home my teen age daughter was baby sitting in and assaulted her and her friend this New Years eve ? A group hug ?

I think they will get off lightly .I think its wrong to give a kid (19) caught with a loaded hand gun in Fairview Mall , with a long rap sheet on a Thursday bail friday so he can murder some one the very next week . I think you know the case.

Not a single conservative won in Canada's three largest cities running on a "get tough on crime" platform!

I guess suburban and rural crime is out of control. Or out of touch you decide.

Geez, they are even worrying about crime in *Japan* these days! Canada & Japan are paradise compared to the US. I don't know why people are so worried.
