5. Belinda Stronach will probably run
Maybe Michael Ignatieff. At least unlike the last three leaders (Turner, Chretian and Martin) it won't be an annointing. It hurts the Liberals to have a leader who feels entitled to the position.

3. I don't hate him that much
Not like Chretien. I hated him with a passion.

And it's not like Martin was invovled with the scandal. Sure, he was Finance Minister but he wasn't part of the Chretien/Gagliano/Guiter cabal.

And remember, when the scam started, Martin and Chretien were going their separate ways. Towards the end, they were using lawyers to talk to each other.

6. If you say so!
Just as long as it isn't
a)Anne McClellan

or

b)Pierre Pettigrew

I can't stand either of those fucking weasels.

9. You'll be pleased to learn, then...
...that both Pettigrew and McClellan lost. I know I am. Couldn't stand either of them. Pettigrew was an idiot and McClellan was a LINO. Good riddance.

10. Finally, someone who agrees with me!
I can't even convince my wife that they're scum.

Well, she saw Pettigrew on Fahrenheit 9/11 and now she knows about him.

7. Not a fan of his, but the best thing about Chretien...
...was the way he explained our refusal to fight in Iraq. In fact, it was my first sigline when I joined DU:

"I don't know, a proof is a proof. What kind of a proof is a proof? A proof is a proof and when you have a good proof it's because it's proven."

You'd think ol' george would've understood when explained that way.
