Ok, I heard a rumour that Harper is considering Stockwell Day
for the position of minister of Foreign Affairs. That's got to be a joke right?

Did anyone else hear that?

1. I heard because of his extreme views
he is almost certain to be passed over for Foreign Affairs and given a lesser post.

2. Well, that's what I'm hoping for.
It would be one major embarrassment to have that moron representing us abroad.

4. Day's been the External Affairs critic in opposition.
He should be the favourite for the job.

5. Also Red Deer and the Okanagan are so connected...
...to the world, in that their cultural diversity, would mean that surley he has a grasp on the foreign relations issues to the extent that a minister from a major city wouldn't have.

12. LOL, must add that to the list of why he is the most capable for the
position and, to top it off, bush doesn't have to think up a nickname because 'Doris' is already chosen, rofl.

8. He is actually knowledgable on foreign affairs
Relatively well-informed and knows his geography.

It's just the conclusions that he draws that scares me.

13. Gee...maybe we'll get to see him in his wet suit again!
I don't know what he knows or doesn't know about foreign affairs, but he comes across to me as a complete air head!
