Harper's 'evolution'? Puh-leeze.
During the election campaign Harper's people were at great pains to emphasize their fair-haired boy's 'evolution' in thinking over the last several years. No, he doesn't really believe Canada is a second-rate welfare state country, and so on and so forth. Steve-O made that speech to the U.S. right-wing think tank, yes it's true, but he was speaking in jest. Come on folks, have a sense of humour! That was Steven Harper in the 90's, not the Steven Harper of today. Well, the Steven Harper of three fucking weeks ago told Radio Canada that all ministers in his cabinet would have to be ELECTED to the house of commons. I guess the 'evolution' continues.

2. It wasn't evolution
It was intelligent design, in terms of reshaping his image. But that can only last for so long.
