Can win despite backlash, Emerson says
Emerson seems to be singing a slightly different tune.

“I actually do think I could probably win an election as a Conservative,” Mr. Emerson said, appearing on CTV Newsnet. “The whole issue of whether a by-election or part of the next general election, of course, is a point of some debate.”

(I thought there was no debating whether there'd be any by-election.)

3. This makes me sick to my stomach

The whole situation, but particularly, this;

"The decision earned Ms. Stronach harsh criticism from her former Tory colleagues"

They fucking called her a whore! But Harpey does it and it's for good reason. Unreal.

I really hope the constituents in Emerson's riding don't let him off the hook....hope the protests continue. (and the media keeps reporting it!)

4. No by-election--removed period
Emerson's action clearly brings Parliament into disrepute and should be removed...BUT apparantly the elites/career politicians, who NEED the flexibility of mobile party affliations for their OWN career aspirations, have ignored this long-held tradition about the respect of Parliament.
