I just watched this brilliant piece of investigative journalism on the CBC's The Fifth Estate about Dick Cheney and Halliburton. I wish all Americans had access to CBC to see what kind of snake this man is.

1. Soviet satellite photos did not show Iraqi troops amassed on Saudi border

Another grand imperialist lie

SEPTEMBER 1990: The Pentagon says that 250,000 Iraqi troops with 1500 tanks are massed on the Saudi border. The photos are never made public.

Soviet satellite imagery taken that day shows no troops near the border. (see the photos)

Journalist Jean Heller learns about the Soviet satellite imagery and presents them to Dick Cheney's office at the Pentagon. They ignore the story.

Hopefully our American friends will get a chance to see it...

Startlingly frank and upfront...especially at the end when they had Woolsey squirming about Halliburton's contracts and 'hypocrisy'...

Just a shame that this kind of programming is not available to our bro's and sis's to the South.
There is one forum I visit where posting a thread like this results in being attacked as "learning about the world from t.v"....

How sad that some Americans liken the medium of television to shows like "Who wants to marry my dad?" Some just have no clue of how television can be used for good information, not just mindless drivel.
But I guess when you are exposed to FOX for too long, you probably start to lose a few brain cells...
