Canadian soldiers wounded in Afghan blast - CBC
"Two Canadian troops were wounded Monday when a blast went off near their armoured vehicle outside of Gumbad in southern Afghanistan.

The pair, who were not identified, were flown by U.S. helicopter back to the main Canadian base in Kandahar for treatment.

Their injuries are not life-threatening, said Canadian Forces spokesperson Maj. Mario Couture, who said the men have had a number of tests and scans.
...
"They were stunned after the explosion," he said. "They have no physical injury that we know of. They can walk around."

Bomb blast concussions can kill with no external signs of injury.
