[Harper] stresses commitment to Kyoto climate pact |
"On the global environment, Harper insisted that Canada was not abandoning the Kyoto Protocol even though it has said it would not be able to meet the mandated reduction in emissions..." http://ca.today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=domesticNews&storyID=2006-07-14T154612Z_01_L14904845_RTRIDST_0_CANADA-GROUP-BRITAIN-CANADA-COL.XML

1. That slimy Harper is at it again...aping his chimpy friend to the south... |
He is really following Bush's handbook to a T. Just as the Bush administration tries to blame everything on Clinton, Harper follows suit with blaming the Liberals who preceded him. In London he said "Prime Minister Blair's government has taken steps over the years to reach its targets. The previous (Liberal) government of Canada did not do that and has put us in a position where they're not attainable. That doesn't mean we're abandoning the process. Canada is fully engaged.".... This pompous ass looks down his nose at everyone he talks to. I don't think he will go over all that well at the G8 Summit talks. Our previous Prime Ministers at least had some warmth and personality to deal with other leaders, this jerk is just a cold fish who talks down to everyone.
