My rear tires are in great shape, but I need new ones for the front. Usually I'd get uniroyal or blizzaks. But I didn't wanna spend a crud load this year. Would you guys recomend those Canadian tire ones? Ever have experience with them?

2. I cheated death in a whiteout pile up between Montreal and Drummondville |

bad bad conditions after a lucky guess as to which way the car ahead of me had skidded out, (total white out) I pulled off at a Canadian Tire and bought Motomaster Tires (all they had available), they performed admirably and got us safely to Ontario. I can't comment on durability (only had them one season) but they worked well in the snow.

3. Wow, somebody from Vancouver |
|
who actually knows what snow tires are... and is considering putting them on his car before January!! Considering where you are (and pretty well everyone I know who drives from Nelson to Vancouver has car problems there - I've never been able to figure out why other than the place is cursed) I would say get the good ones. Hell, I keep good studded snow tires on my truck (little '88 Ford Ranger), chains for emergencies, and a rack with five cinder blocks for weight in the bed - and I live in the Lower Mainland. Things that directly affect my safety, I prefer to spend the money on... I'll save on electronics and clothing instead.
Any word on the radio gig yet?
