PM carves Pumpkins with Rick Mercer |
|
Did anyone catch today's Monday Report. He visited 24 Sussex and poked around a bit prior to talking to Martin. He even went for a dip in the pool.
He was asking the PM about sending the US flu vaccine. He suggested that we tie it to opening up the borders to beef. (Softwood lumber would work too.) They then carved pumpkins together. (Mercer's looked like Brian Mulroney.)
Can you imagine Jon Stewart doing a similar thing with the President, any president. We're such a different country in some ways. Of course I don't recall a president ever getting a pie in the face.

3. It was hilarious! But.... |
|
you missed posting the best part! Did you hear the end, when Mercer turned the pumpkin carved as Brian Mulroney around, Paul Martin said "now that's scary"
:-)
(and how about that animal print runner on the stairway?!)

And I can't find it in the archives either.
:-(
However the one of Paul Martin nominating his campus pub is there, could you imagine anyone asking the chimp to do that? When I see Paul Martin doing something like that, I don't mind him at all.

5. The funniest thing I saw was last week on Monday Report |
|
Pierre Berton giving advice on how to roll the perfect joint. He wasn't kidding, either. Berton's openly admitted for years that he's a toker.
