Bevilacqua throws support behind Rae
"Maurizio Bevilacqua stepped down from the Liberal leadership race Monday and threw his support behind Bob Rae.

Mr. Bevilacqua said at press conference Monday morning in Ottawa that he thought the former NDP premier of Ontario was the only candidate who could “defeat the timid five-point plan that defines Prime Minister Stephen Harper's leadership.”

He also announced he would serve as Mr. Rae's chief economic adviser and co-chair of his national campaign."
