Liberal website gaffe reveals donations, home numbers

The fundraising activities of the Liberal leadership candidates — as well as their home phone numbers and addresses — were released on Wednesday.

The party posted lists of donations received by each candidate on its website in the late afternoon, which were supposed to cover the period ending July 31. However, that portion of the site was soon made inaccesible after the privacy gaffe was discovered.

Even before the information was removed, some totals appeared incomplete. Several camps have complained that tens of thousands in donations have not yet been processed by the party, through which donations must be funnelled to provide tax receipts.

Many candidates released their own, more up-to-date tallies of their donations later Wednesday. According to their figures:
