http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0tkCJVBQEgAfter doing that video, she goes to the Justice committee and live blogs the debate about whether the meeting should go in camera and be closed to the media, or remain open and public. http://forums.macleans.ca/advansis/?mod=for&act=dip&pid=110613&tid=110613&eid=48&so=1&ps=0&sb=1 So what kind of journalism is this? - B

1. Read Kady's blog today |

She explains all of the committee maneuvering very nicely (about Cadman, the "in and out" election financing, filibustering, etc). Personally, I think she does very good journalism, although she does inject a bit of personality into things (not a problem for me).

2. I read her blog quite regularly... |

I agree she does good journalism, with an attitude even, which I also enjoy.
I'm just surprised (pleasantly) that she's experimenting with video and live blogging together to cover our staid Parliament, and even more surprised that a mainstream media outlet lets her do this.
It will be interesting to see how this style of coverage evolves.
(And it's too bad the macleans.ca site is so badly organized. They have some good writers and good daily features, but it is difficult to find anything on the site.)
