Flaherty challenges McGuinty to cut taxes
TORONTO — Federal Finance Minster Jim Flaherty stuck his nose into Ontario politics once again Monday, challenging the McGuinty government to cut corporate taxes in Tuesday's provincial budget.

So what the heck is going on? An Ontario MP who is Minister of Finance attacking the Ontario government?

Could it be that they are looking for a scapegoat in the coming financial crumble?

Well, all know that it is not he that is pulling the strings. It is Harper.

Why would Harper be pushing this?

Simple. He can't negotiate. He has to win on his terms.

So what is he looking to win?

Now that requires some thought.

Why would he be picking on Ontario?

Why Ontario when Ontario and Quebec are the basis for the country. Could it be that he is trying to split the Quebec/Ontario basis for Canada. Could it be that he is trying to weaken the Eastern hold on power.

My look at things is that he wants the feds to have the Power. And one of the ways of weakening the provincial powers is to break the power of the central provinces. Perhaps he believes that he has the support of the Conservative in Quebec to achieve his goal.

Maybe some of the Quebec Liberals should have a hard look at what is happening.
