I kept pointing out to my Bro-in-Law from New Jersey, that the two-lane road we were driving on was the Trans-Canadian Highway. I think it caused him some serious cognitive dissonance.
I love Canada! (All of the "Beware of Moose at Night" road signs were a bit sobering, though.)
