You can view it here.... http://ndp.ca/speechdetail/nid-2360Man. I wished he would have been able to heckle him at the Commons but it ain't gonna happen! Actually forget Layton. I would want to see Carolyn Parrish heckle Monkey Boy. John

Cascadian, regarding your wish "to see Carolyn Parrish heckle Monkey Boy": If *B actually had the guts to address Parliament, there would've had to have been a deli-style "take-a-number" dispenser to accommodate the line up of would-be hecklers from across the political spectrum. That's precisely why he canceled. Ms. Parrish may have been the loudest, but she was hardly alone.
What's really disgusting is the only Opposition member allowed to meet with *B is Stephen Harper, quite possibly the most offensive conservative wannabe boot-lick in the history of Canadian politics. Forget Bill Clinton: What Harper's gonna be doing with Bush is, make no mistake about it, (figurative) oral sex.

What are the chances that Martin will kowtow to * on the star wars scheme? I hope Canada can remain an independent nation and tell * no. We don't have much impact with our own government here.
On Edit: I read the letter. You folks, as are we, doomed.
