Bush meets Charest to talk business

MONTREAL - Florida's governor and Quebec's premier have signed an agreement to promote greater economic and tourism ties between the two trading partners.
Rather than selling out to the Americans, we're just going to bring them in here and let them run our health system, let them run our hydro-electric system, for example. Those seem to be priorities for the Charest government and we want to stop that."

If the health-care privatizers had their way, there'd be big profits to be made by USAmerican insurance/medical interests ... but there wouldn't be any Canadian tourists left to drive the Florida economy. ;)

Our seniors (and the rest of us) would be busy trying to pay for medical care and prescriptions just like they are down there.
