I'd like to know how much athletic grant money Richard Legendre |

Has received from the nation he despises so....
Richard Legendre, a former Parti Quebecois cabinet minister and tennis star, is the sixth candidate in the party's leadership race. Legendre, 52, served as former sports and tourism minister. He was well known in the sports world before being elected to the legislature four years ago. Legendre gained recognition as a tennis coach and player and was ranked one of the 10 best players in Canada between 1973 and 1979. Legendre was a supporter of the candidacy of former education minister Francois Legault and apparently decided to seek the PQ leadership when Legault announced he wouldn't run. The PQ will announce its new leader in mid-November. (CP)
