Wow...drug tunnel between WA and BC unearthed...

Just caught it on CBC regional news. A tunnel between Lindley Washington and a house in Langley BC has been discovered, as part of a drug raid.

Details to follow....

Some DEA official, talking about how terra'ists could use it, and how this exemplifies how we need to strengthen border security.

I know--"duh".

But the facts that the authorities on BOTH SIDES of the border have known about this for nearly two years, and have cooperated, and have collected massive evidence, and shut them down when they were able to catch them red-handed before they could do any significant damage...Really, all went as well as anyone could have wished!

It even sends a message to people who're thinking of doing the same thing, sheeple!

7. I just watched the press conference on this

It was quite interesting. It seems it was the Canadian authorities that gave the heads up to the US officials on the 'tunnel work', they then set up various types of surveillance and decided to grab the three guys coming out of the tunnel into the US. It seems like the people on the ground on both sides have great respect for each other, it was nice to hear.
