An American fugitive charged with child sex abuse in Florida has been spotted in Ontario over the past month.

Police say Richard Rightmire, 56, is considered armed and dangerous, and may still be in the province. They say his image was recently captured on security videos at ATMs in Ottawa and Oshawa.

Rightmire is wanted in Florida on a number of charges, including promoting a sexual performance by a child and lewd and lascivious battery of a child. He's wanted on a Canada-wide immigration warrant.

Rightmire is described as white, six-foot-one, about 222 pounds, and with blue eyes, brown hair and probably a beard.
