3. Are you sure?
I can't find it in the listings on www.bbc.co.uk. Perhaps they
moved it?

5. Amazed that anyone here might not have seen it yet ...
... or are we all watching it again?

Not sure I can bear it after the debacle of last November.

8. just saw it
I swear the BBC cut something because of british liabel law about
a signature on a document... the film jumped when they were showing
the proof that the bin laden family was involved in carlysle... proof
that the bin ladens own london as well. I have to order the video
from america and then watch it looking for subtle cuts and edits to
see what the british censors felt was liabellous on UK soil.

Pathetic that there are 2 versions of F911...Us and british... but
expected.... always fun to see that america has criminals on the loose
uncharged busy mass murdering without any sense of stopping.

9. If I remember rightly, Craig Unger's book ...
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 03:51 AM by non sociopath skin
... "House of Bush, House of Saud" had a "British Edition" as British libel laws prevented publication in the UK of the original (which I bought in the States last year)

12. yes yes oops "channel 4"
I should have said the UK film censor, rather than the BBC. I kinda
felt sorry for the commercial sponsors, as the film just does not show
well with commercial breaks.... Perhaps, were the sponsors more savvy,
they would have produced a special lower-key commercial advert special
for the thing as the tone of the film vs. the adverts was jarring.

11. I couldn't watch it.
Just couldn't bring myself to do it.

But then, we've got the DVD.

I've cried my way through that movie three times now; once in the theatre on the 4th of July, and twice watching the DVD.

Maybe in another 4 years or so, I'll be able to watch it without crying, but I doubt it.
