3. The only problem is they don't need an act of parliament to force

people to supply fingerprints etc for passports or driving licence as they are voluntary. They are being very sly. Within a decade through passports and driving licences they will have 80% of the populations details. Then the ID cards will simply land on our doormats.

mine's still got a few years to run, but i'm going to try and renew it before August. Not sure what to give as a reason.

I'm sure "So that you authoritarian nutcases can't have my fingerprints and scan my eyes" won't suffice.

11. It's beautiful

although less so since 1999. In historic terms, there is plenty to see, although a lot of the museums are in a decrepit state. In terms of restaurants, its a veritable heaven. Try the Sindjelic if you are ever there.
