My deepest condolences to those in London.
This is a horrible day. I cannot imagine what you all are going through. I send my sympathies and thoughts to the friends and families of the injured and dead.

6. Our friends in London are strong...
resiliant people, but we here in the states are surely praying for you and hoping for the best. I hope any UK posters or readers we have on these forums are okay, and I hope their families are doing fine as well. America's heart is with you today, our friends.

7. Londoners....
survived the German bombing in WWII and will survive this. They're a string lot, but I can't help but think this will change everything there as well. How much power will be automatically given to Blair at this moment? Another brick in the totalitarian road.

My heart and prayers go out to all those in London today.

9. We're just hoping that
this doesn't just whip up a pro-war hysteria. These terrible things must lie on Blair's conscience. This is a result of illegally invading a country and slaughtering people. What I don't want to see today is Blair and Bush holding hands and crowing that they were right all the time. This will solve nothing and just seem justify their murderous actions.

12. My sympathies and best wishes
Jean-Marie Colombani of Le Monde said it best with the declaration that "We are all Americans" after the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01. We are all Britons now, and your heartbreak is ours as well.
