2. The Brits have been good friends to us.

During the lead-up to the Iraq war, & particularly during the year after it began, the British press were the only ones to report what was truly going on.

I hated it that Blair went along with the plan because I really liked him. I don't know what he was promised for going along, but the tenacious Brits are going to see to it that he pays the price.

I consider it a God-send that Britain got involved. Had it not been for the British press & the indignation of the Brits, I wonder if the truth would have gotten out at all.

I'm sorry that the British people had to pay a horrible price for Blair's unwise judgement.
