The Daily Show in the UK
Edited on Sat Aug-20-05 03:03 PM by ben_packard
I just caught the last few minutes of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Global Edition on CNN via sky (channel 513ish). Does anyone know anything about this show? Is it a clip show of the week? How long has it been on? Might not need to download it from now on.

ON EDIT: Found this on the CNN site
The Daily Show: Global Edition, is a half-hour international weekend edition of the satirical news commentary program which airs on U.S. cable network Comedy Central. The CNN International version is a compilation of the best comedy sketches that aired during the previous week on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," which is recorded weeknights before a live studio audience in New York.

1. The Daily Show will also be appearing on Channel 4's new factual station
called More4 which is being launched in October.

3. Yes, here is a link
"Later this year we will be launching a new digital television channel available on free-view without subscription and on Sky and Cable Platforms. Offering the opportunity to see more of the high- quality, intelligent programming for which Channel4 is known, this entirely new channel will be the home of documentaries, films, drama, news and current affairs."

6. I'm pleasantly surprised
Channel 4 has went so badly downhill since its early years, and I figured moving stuff to subscription channels like Film Four was part of the problem, expected this More4 to be similar.

Good for them, sounds like it'll be a good channel.

7. I'm so glad for you guys!
The Daily Show is probably the funniest thing on US TV right now!

My monthly satellite TV bill is worth it for TDS alone. :D
