Maradona owns up to 'Hand of God'

Diego Maradona acknowledged that he struck the ball with his hand in the famous "Hand of God" goal against England in the 1986 World Cup quarterfinals.

Speaking on his local television talk show Monday night, Maradona called one of soccer's most controversial goals "something that just came out of me. It was a bit of mischief."

of overturning the result, I wonder if some enterprising TV producer could put together a rematch.

Get the two original line ups together & let them play again. I'm sure that given the right monetary incentives you could get 90% of the players together.

Senior's 5-a-side tournaments seem to be pretty popular right now, a chance to see Beardsley, Barnes, Lineker & Co. face up to Maradona & Co. would be great TV.
