Remember the speculation about the names of the stations hit on 7/7 having an embedded message? What stations on the target line might have been part of that message, if it existed?

(I don't mean to trivialize things, nor hype the message theory, just I tend to remember odd details that other folks miss.)

Not that I'm trying to end the thread prematurely (radio 4 joke).

(On edit - I forgot to say: "crescent" for the Islamic connotation, of course, as per the (rather un-credible) tube station message theory.)

The Indie and Guardian are much more explicit about this conclusion which for some reason the Daily Mail is reluctant to accept.
