Boycott America and all things American
If 59,000,000+ people think by hoisting the biggest insult every hoisted on the world is without consequences, you should demonstrate them wrong.

In 4 years I'd like to see people SO disillusioned with indiscriminate tax cuts and war-mongering republicans that they don't hit the White House again for a generation.

2. No, we need to stop contributing anything
that helps the pukes. If enough of the 'morans' who voted for * are hurt by the economy, they may just wake up.

Maybe, if the air and water is poisoned enough, they may learn.

Maybe, if enough soldiers die in the Middle East, they will figure out that they have been screwed.

Naw. They would still vote repuke and blame Bill Clinton's penis.

At this point, I would just as soon see Amerika crash and burn and let the rest of the world move on without the burden of the US. The planey would be much better off with US.

3. Yeah OK.
Although I'm actually angrier at the 80 or 90 million who couldn't be bothered to get off their fat pimply behinds and vote against the malevolent cretin. If just one in twenty of them had, Kerry wins. Just one in ten and it's a landslide.
Just saying "I didn't vote for him" isn't enough.

4. This would involve me giving up sex for the next four years ...
... being married to an American.

Seriously, I can't see a boycott making much difference. My wife is talking seriously about not going to the States while Dubbya rules but I'm pointing out that, while it would make no difference to the Chimp, it would hurt her mom( a die-hard Florida Democrat)and our solidly Democrat American friends ...

I think it's more important to support the opposition in the States by, for example, keeping up the anti-war pressure in Europe.

6. You might have your mother-in-law visit. There's some concern these crazy
bastids may close the borders and we won't be able to get out.

When you ask Germans why they didn't get out (WW2) they say it happened so fast they didn't realize fully what was happening.

There's nothing to stop him now.

The fundamentalists are talking about "the need" to convert all
liberal democrats....

To what?

8. Not an option, Pallas.
Edna has a deteriorating spinal condition and long-distance travel could be life-threatening.

I hear what you say about getting out early - my wife's grandad did just that, even though the rest of his family thought he was crazy - but, in all honesty, I don't think that even most liberals in the States think they're quite in that position yet. Sure, some are talking seriously about getting out (had an email from a friend in Canada, one of whose Texan friends has already sent off for Canadian papers)but I think it's more about loathing the cultural climate than actually feeling at risk.

Sorry, but I think it's fightback time, not runaway time.
