I've just spent the past hour reliving wonderful comedy memories with this three part article covering the shows 15 year history. From Teddy Taylor's announcement that he's a Bob Marley fan, through Paula "Sperm of the Devil" Yates, to the tub of lard to the debut performance of Boris Johnson. Great stuff!

2. Some good memories there

Two omissions I'd like to have seen: firstly, Paul Merton's infamous answer in the missing words round: "I made Thatcher ____ boasts Nigel"; Merton: "Is it 'swallow'?", which got one of the biggest laughs ever. Secondly, Roy Hattersley's pompous and peevish reaction in his Guardian column to the 'tub of lard' gag, a major sense of humour failure demonstrating that his good sport act is just that, an act.
