5. that was helpamericacount.com who pulled their recount efforts
it sounds like the Nevada Secretary of State's office is acting like the mob ....they made it almost impossible for the helpamericacount group file for a recount, did things like said they had to provide the "numbers" of the machines they wanted to audit but did not provide a way for them to get the machines numbers to request them. Such liars. And from this article, it sounds like that little closet king Heller got our Governor to give him some sort of denial power for a recount just before the elections. I understand the Cobb recount has not pulled away yet.

Sept. 11, 04

"I fear that this election is going to be very embarrassing for some states," said Nevada Secretary of State Dean Heller. "The scrutiny is going to be so intense from one end of the country to another. The media is far more focused on the details of elections and how they are run than they were before Florida in 2000. I don't think you can be prepared for that level of scrutiny."

Some key swing states are still scrambling to fine-tune their election recount procedures. The Iowa legislature passed a law in April requiring election officials there to rewrite administrative rules defining what constitutes a vote, some of which address how ballots would be tallied in a recount. The public comment period on the new rules ended less than two weeks ago.

Just days ago in Nevada, Heller carried emergency regulations clarifying recount procedures to Gov. Kenny Guinn for his signature.

3. Interesting contrast:
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 02:35 AM by Must_B_Free
"HARRIS HAS BECOME a media darling. A major profile is due in Vanity Fair, and her cell phone rings constantly with requests for interviews and documentation, from TV stations and newspapers around the country. Democratic presidential candidates John Edwards, Howard Dean, and Dennis Kucinich all mentioned concerns about electronic voting during this year's campaign. Former first lady and current U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., and U.S. Rep. Rush Holt, D-N.J., are sponsoring national legislation responding to the issues raised by Harris and her allies."

Contrasted with Olbermans attack on Bev:

"It has been pointed out that Bev Harris was scheduled to be on Countdown back on November 8 but her appearance was cancelled. I haven’t addressed this before, either. But we didn’t cancel on her - we wanted, on that first night raising this touchy subject nobody else had previously covered, to have more mainstream guests. And we wanted her back another night. And since then we’ve wanted her to come back with her video. And she hasn’t."

These two statements are at odds.

4. It's all media bullshit, and the rove tactic of throwing out all kinds ...
of bullshit and seeing what sticks.

Bev will ignore it all, and continue to work to expose the fraud.
