News on DC Protest
I just spoke with the coordinator of the DC March for Democracy rally on Dec 11th. Since I haven't seen any details previously on the event here is what I have found.

I spoke with Jeff Fisher. The march will start on the Washington Mall near the Washington Monument and will end at the White House. The event starts at noon. So far, speakers include Dennis Kucinich and Jesse Jackson.

Jeff asked me to contact my Congresswoman's district reps at all of her offices and ask her to support the nationwide recount (although with my Freeper Congresswoman, I'll have a stroke if she even agrees to hold hearings on election reform).

One site I've found that is organizing the rally is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/revote2004/ .

Let's make it happen! The Oh rally on the 4th, the DC rally on the 11th and then a rally in NYC on the 18th. Let's make our voices heard!

2. Yeah
And that is almost exactly how he said his name, lol..

I had called BBV and spoke with Bev and then I called to find out about the DC protest and spoke with Jeff Fisher. It was all very surreal to be talking with two of the people that this board talks most about. If I could get Keith, Kerry and Bush on the line, then I think I would have given my opinion to the people that are most involved in our efforts to uncover fraud...

10. He didn't get into the investigations.
I didn't ask because I'm not sure where I stand with that whole thing. I want it to be true, but it also seems like something that people would just ignore as crazy. We talked about his site, about the event mostly and what he wanted people to do (call their legislators, repeatedly). Then he had to go.

I'd like to see more publicity about the DC event, so I'm going to keep bringing this up and cross my fingers that something blows up before then or that people like Barbara Boxer get involved and raise the awareness level of mainstream voters.

4. I was behind this movement here...
http://www.51capitalmarch.com

But no one seems to be glomming onto it. I'm in Seattle and WILL do something. Either on the 12th or whenever, I just need to know when and what I can do to help.

Anyone else?

8. I saw that too
I don't know if they are related, but a major DC protests and protests the next day in each state capital would be very effective in increasing the buzz. I think that if we can get MSM coverage on Saturday, other people might be encouraged to go protest their state's electoral college vote the next day.

Since Jeff said he had these speakers lined up, I'd have to assume that there will be an aggressive PR campaign coming up. Jeff says his website keeps getting hacked. Someone else here reported that he was working with Jeff at one point and thought it was a network server issue. Either way, it seems like maybe he doesn't have the ability to continuously promote this rally by his website.

I know that people are concentrating one weekend at a time and that OH is the big rally coming up first. I think that's an excellent way to snowball the media coverage and convince people that the election fraud movement is for real.

12. Yep
That is why I think this could be good. Jesse Jackson and Dennis Kucinich have hardcore followers. I think this could be an event that could generate some buzz.

I sure wish he would show up, too, I think it would do everyone a world of good.
