6. It pretty much just reaffirms what we already thought. So take it with a
grain of salt. The article won't do much upon itself, so all it could do would leave the door open that what he says is true. But don't get too worked up because he/she gives no proof, which I urge the writer to do if he/she reads this.

8. DO NOT FALL PREY TO THIS YET
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 04:02 PM by IAMREALITY
When I was heavily investigating/obsessing about the BUSH BULGE back in the debates this same Brad Menfil popped up saying he was a Bush Secret Service agent or something and has proof the bulge was a receiver blah blah blah. I believe the post was regarded by the community as completely fraudulent.

Just wanted to give a heads up.

Bush was wired 09.Oct.2004 21:37

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brad Menfil of Knoxville link

I have contacts within the Republican Party. I was told by Scott Zale, a Repulican operative in eastern Tennessee that he knows it to be a fact that Bush was wired. He said that within the Bush campaign, there are certain mid-level staffers that have leaked this tidbit because it was just "too fantastic to ignore."

Zale told me that the transmission device is popular with other high profile officials in the Bush administration. It helps everybody stay "on message." Zale said that Bush was only fed ready responses to just certain types of questions. He didn't know which questions those were but admitted that Bush just sounded(to him)to be more articulate at certain "oportune" times.

Zale confided that he was told that the president wore a loose fitting jacket during both debates. The device protuded because Bush has a tendency to hunch over and shrug his shoulders a lot.

This is a true story as it was told to me. If you want to know more, please contact Scott Zale at the Bush-Cheney campaign headquarters in Knoxville, Tn. Thanks.
****

There ya go. But honestly, that fact that Bush was wired with something doesn't sound that far out. His post doesn't either. But I could don't give a crap about that.

This voting one is too good to be true..still...

14. Hey, it's almost too perfect.
Whistleblowers aren't anonymous. This could be anybody, for any reason.

While it fits most of the circumstantial evidence, until someone steps forward with a signed affidavit and several friends willing to do the same, this is unsubstantiated gossip.

It warms my heart to think that it could be real, though.

17. argh...
I think a theme is starting to emerge... make claims, but hide real evidence. Why? Because your life is in danger? Well if this is real and you really know what you know then your life is in danger making that half-assed, no evidence claim! Might as well give us something!

19. Needs more. Much more.

(1) is this name that of a real person?
(2) if so, did that person actually make the post in question?
(3) if so, what (if anything) is this person's connection to the Bush campaign?
(4) if such a connection exists, is this person in a position to have knowledge of the activities alleged?
(5) if so, can this person back up these (very broad and generic) allegations with more specific details and data?
(6) if so, can that backing citation withstand reasonable scrutiny?

Etc.

Anyone who puts blind faith in this kind of web-post just because it says what you want to hear and contains a name -- without any validating information or backing documentation -- is making a SERIOUS mistake, imho. If you think there's a real case that election fraud occurred in this year's elections, then you also MUST assume that any serious efforts to investigate that fraud WILL be hit with disruption and misdirection. That being the case, you can't simply take stuff like this at face value, because you can bet your ass that 50 lurking freepers are standing at the ready to take advantage of that weakness the moment they see it. They did it on the 9/11 threads, and they'll do it here, too. They'll do it anywhere they see a threat to Their Great Leader, no matter how legitimate the allegations are.

Be aware, and please conduct yourselves accordingly.

20. Sounds Like a Fake
Here is what another site is saying about the Brad man.

http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/2004/11/bad-brad-is-at-it-again-vote-fraud.html

Seems to most bloggers to be a phony. Interesting, though. I like the idea of his name being an anagram. Very Da Vinci Code-ish. Rifleman D?

27. Well it sure is interesting. I can imagine at least a few people,
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 11:28 PM by texpatriot2004
even Repugs who came to know the dark side might not want to keep the secrets. Still, I can also imagine it coming out and being used against us...like planted info. If we were to "run with it" and they planted phony info. it would be easy for them to handle as they would be a step ahead (at least). It reminds me of the recent outrage toward Kerry for having millions left over after the election that was actually, it turns out, started by a Repug spreading the rumor. Not that he doesn't have the money, but that she knew people would be pissed off about it and so she started the rumor. Or, another example is the Repug ploy that involved sending all election fraud info to Cam Kerry. Nonetheless, I may hang on to it to see if, when it all comes out in the wash, it looks like reality. It could be true? Or it could be a joke on us.
