It improved things for 2004, didn't it.

6. That sounds so wonderful but
Every day I see great news and then nothing ever seems to come of it.

Meanwhile time is tick, tick, ticking away and I just sicker and sicker. I cannot bare the thought of that worthless Goon and his evil minions running this country and of half of this country (who HATE him) having to pay his sorry ass to do it!

I'll believe it when I see it otherwise, I think I'm going to have to start popping anti-depressants or just live in deep despair.

8. don't live in deep despair
you could always flee to Mississippi and live incognito. get a job at an offshore oil rig near Biloxi. Work your way up into upper management.

steal a lot of money.
flee to the bahamas.
open a boutique.
sell t-shirts that say "my folks went to the bahamas and left me behind to deal with George Bush"

come to think of it, when you get to despair, send me a postcard. you never know. i bet real estate is pretty cheap there.

chin up.

Edited on Fri Dec-03-04 12:44 AM by merh
are truly blue  We haven't given up hope. If you do flee here, you will have to work on a rig offshore of LA or AL - the repuke gov has yet (YET) to get the legislation passed that would allow for drilling off of our shores (but its coming).

I wish I could change my name - instead of merh, it would be BiloxiBlue! (Another poster gave me the idea!)

anything they'll probably spin it negatively vs. Demos. That's the real danger in my mind.

17. Plan of action for DU members
http://www.house.gov/judiciary/members.htm
The list of the Judiciary Cmte. members are there. We need to bombard every Republican dog on the house judiciary committee with e-mails demanding that they attach themselves to the fraud investigation, because it shouldn't be(although it has become) a partisan issue.

Also, remember when Conyers made his guarded appearnce on Countdown? This is why he was so conservative. He was gathering evidence before coming forward with the plethora of it. ALSO, Arnebeck has been getting press coverage for saying the election results are invalid and Kerry won Ohio, and that he HAS PROOF. Notice, that according to Bradblog's source: Arenebeck will be testifying at the hearings! This is freaking huge!

there is a lot more to this than that, and Bradblog will be breaking the story before anyone else, so be patient because this is too important to leak out before all the evidence is documented.

40. Although I agree this issue is not a partisan one,
I am not interested in encouraging the GOP to participate. If they can't figure it out on their own to get involved...too bad. I mean, why do we need to ask them to get involved if they don't think it's important enough?

20. Wayne Madsen at meeting
Wayne Madsen and Justice Through Music, www.jtmp.org (the org that posted the $200,000 reward for evidence of vote fraud) were at the meeting today in Conyers' office at the Judiciary Committee. They presented some hard evidence of vote tampering that got the attention of the committee and made the point that everyone should focus on the voting issue instead of worrying about what they have to do different to win the next election. If the vote is rigged the dems will never win another election. In short, the committee decided that hearings will be able to look into something very big, very soon. The clock is ticking but so is the hourglass.

Gosh, I am so glad to hear someone got the dems to recognize that if they don't deal with the election fraud now, a dem candidate will never win another race - talk about your endangered species!

So glad to hear someone got their attention and that it sunk in with them that this IS THE ISSUE!

26. Madsen
Yes, it was interesting at the meeting, there were staffers from Jesse Jackson Jr, Dennis Kucinich, and others there along with reps from PDA and other orgs and they were all talking about how they have to do things differently and how to seize the initiative from the Repugs blah blah, and then Justice Through Music stands up and says, gee, all these things are fine and dandy but the Dems did not lose this election, it was stolen by fraudulent voting machines manufactured by companies operated and controlled by hard core Repugs and there is some very specific evidence available that the vote was rigged through software tampering. Conyers' man then said, "what can we do?" and JTM said, hold hearings, get the source code, subpoena programmers and documents, and get the Repugs out of the vote counting business.

Please, reassure me, they finally get it. :scared:

30. Democrats are trusting people, I think...
Granted WE are Democrats and we sure as heck aren't trusting this thing, but I think as a general rule Democrats 'take the high road' and believe the best rather than the worst.

OK, reality check.

I don't know if that's right or not, but some of the posts I've read indicated that Kerry conceded as quickly as he did because he believed the results. That tells me he and his staff have a basic belief in the integrity of the voting process.

Yes, No! What do you think?

Anyway, I'm glad that there are finally people speaking up and, better yet, people who are listening.

34. I believe you are correct in your assessment
It is the same mind set that allowed so many to vote for the weed that would be king. If they lose their believe in their core values (e.g. our government is good, our nation is righteous, our leaders true) then they doubt their own existence and goodness. It is like those who attack God, the defenses of the believers will not allow for them to question their core belief and those that question them are wrong, evil, crazy and misinformed.

I pray that the dem leaders have finally appreciated the issue - integrity of the elections.

25. Damn! Kenny is going to be busy!
Distribute the .pdf widely. This letter proves what the Republican machine thinks about Democracy. I hope they do not accept Ken's word alone on all these matters. One or two of these leads could unlock a deeper level of fraud that could change the election. Where did those 19,000 Bush votes come from? Where did those other count anomalies come from? Registrations from 1977? An answer to any one of these leads could reveal wide-spread fraud, but the odds are that Bush will be sworn in on Jan. 20. The Republicans will drag their feet and fight this at each pass. Recount! Recount! Recount!

I hope the Dems won't be content with "Fix it next time" or "This is a warning, KEN." Not this time. We took the gracious road in 2000, but now we have measured the enemy. The Dems have a chance to tar them with their own disdain for an America of the people, by the people and for the people. Ohio was yet another Republican Unpatriot Act.

And most importantly, KEEP SPREADING THIS NEWS!

As you have likely noticed, it's up to all of us to BE THE MEDIA in this case!

So PLEASE contact your friends, your local press, and your congressmen to urge them to take part in these hearings!

I hope to have more on that later today with some easy links to contact your congressmen alerting them to these matters and asking them to take part / attend next weeks hearings!
